Celebrate New Year’s Eve 2014 at Cité!

As yet another memory-filled year comes to a close, we anxiously anticipate all the excitement, unique possibilities, and incredible opportunities a brand new year has to offer. Help us celebrate the incoming year with a bang at Cité this New Year’s Eve!

Imagine ringing in 2014 while gazing out on the beautifully spectacular Chicago night skyline from an incredible 70 stories above the Windy City! Join your friends at Cité this New Year’s Eve for one of two elegant celebrations. Enjoy a delicious 5 or 7-course dinner, live music, a sparkling champagne toast, fireworks, and more!

We have two separate seating times available for your delightfully delicious and elegant New Year’s Eve 2014 Celebration. The first seating includes a spectacularly fine 5-course meal prepared especially by our chef for your dining pleasure. The second seating not only furnishes you with a fantastic 7-course menu, but also includes live music, Champagne toast and fireworks to light up your celebration in magnificent Cité style!

First Seating

The first seating will occur from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM (out by 9:00 PM) and will include a deliciously elegant 5-course meal for $125 per person. A 20% Gratuity will be added to all guest checks.

~First Course~

Our delicious first course will include Sturgeon Caviar (Cornmeal Blinis, Traditional Garnish)

~Second Course~

For the scrumptious second course, choose from Cured Salmon (Avocado Mousse, Horseradish,
Soy Yuzu Vinaigrette), Braised Veal Cheeks (Chanterelle Mushrooms, Sumac Zinfandel Reduction), Lobster Bisque (Blue Crab, Roe Vinaigrette, Chives, Puff Pastry), and Roasted Red and Yellow Beets (Raspberry Vinaigrette, and Gorgonzola Cheese, and Baby Arugula)

~Intermezzo~

Cleanse your palate with a refreshing Champagne Sorbet as you prepare to move on to our incredible main course.

~Main Course~

Choose from Filet Mignon (Burgundy Truffle, Asparagus Tips, Roasted Fingerling Potatoes), Butter Poached Maine Lobster (Pomme Puree, Carrot medley, Drawn Butter), Roasted Amish Chicken (Potato Gratin, Roasted Vegetable), Chilean Sea Bass (Tuscan Kale, Saffron Beurre Blanc) for your main course.

~Dessert~

Finally, the Crème de la Crème of desserts! Choose from a delectable array of dessert choices. Our elegant desserts include Swiss Chocolate Fondue (Serves Two/ Strawberries, Banana Bread, Marshmallow, Pineapple, Melons, Kiwi), Chocolate Macchiato (Espresso Gelato), Drunken Berries (Grand Marnier, Chocolate Tulip Cup), and Vanilla Panna Cotta (Huckleberry Compote, Vanilla Streusel, Blueberry Sorbet)

Second Seating

The second seating will occur from 8:30 PM until 10:00 PM and will include a spectacularly scrumptious 7-course meal for $250 per person. A 20% Gratuity will be added to all guest checks.

~ First Course ~

~Second Course~

For the second course, choose from Cured Salmon (Avocado Mousse, Horseradish,
Soy Yuzu Vinaigrette), and Pan Seared Scallop (Brussels Sprouts, Nueske Bacon, Carrot Ginger Sauce)

~Third Course~

Our third course consists of a choice between Braised Veal Cheeks (Chanterelle Mushrooms, Sumac Zinfandel Reduction) and Moulard Duck Foie Gras (Briochè, Pistachios, Kumquat Marmalade, Balsamic Glaze)

~Fourth Course~

For your fantastic fourth course, you are given a choice between Lobster Bisque (Blue Crab, Roe Vinaigrette, Chives, Puff Pastry) and Roasted Red & Yellow Beets (Raspberry Vinaigrette, Gorgonzola Cheese, Baby Arugula)

Prepare for a dynamically delicious main course with Champagne Sorbet for your Intermezzo.
